The three statuses on the board
These are the pills in the card header, the chips above the list and the values of the Status filter.
What makes a trainee inactive
Either of these:- You froze the subscription. See Freezing and app access.
- The end date passed. The end date that counts is the end of the last queued subscription. A trainee with a renewal lined up stays active when the current one runs out.
What makes a trainee active again
- Reactivating a frozen subscription.
- Adding a new subscription that covers today.
What inactive means for the trainee
An inactive trainee who opens the app sees a locked screen with a button to contact the studio on WhatsApp. See Contact WhatsApp number.
It can take up to about half a minute for the app to notice that access was switched on or off.
Coaching stage
The board also sorts trainees by where they are in their subscription. This is separate from the status. Find it in the filter dialog under Coaching stage.Training status
A third label looks only at check-ins.- On track: a check-in in the last 7 days.
- No check-in: none in the last 7 days, or none at all.
Paused, churn risk, churned and archived
Perform also stores a record status for each trainee, with five values: Active, Paused, Churn risk, Churned and Archived. You may meet these names elsewhere in the product. What matters in daily work:- The trainee board does not use them for its chips and pills. It uses the three statuses above.
- The edit dialog on the board has no status field, so you do not change them there.
- Archived is the one with a practical effect. An archived trainee does not count towards your Perform plan’s trainee limit. Bringing a trainee back from the archive counts them again, and is refused if the plan is full.
- Churned and Archived trainees show as Ended in the coaching stage.
“Paused” in everyday speech is what the board calls a frozen subscription. Use Freeze plan for that.
Find trainees by status
- Press a chip above the list: Active, Inactive or Inactive with access.
- In the advanced filter, use Status with is or is not.
- For frozen trainees only, use Frozen subscription is Frozen.
- For trainees about to become inactive, use Days to subscription end less than a number.
