- Form sent to trainee is the push that goes out the moment a form reaches the trainee.
- Form reminders are extra pushes at times you choose, before or after that day.
Form sent to trainee
This notification holds one message for each form type. That lets a check-in say something different from an intake form.Which message is sent
Each message targets one of three form types: All forms, Intake or Check-in.- When a form is sent, Perform looks for an active message for that form’s type.
- If there is none, it sends the All forms message.
- If there is no active All forms message either, no push is sent for that form.

Reminders before the send day
A “before” reminder tells the trainee a form is coming, for example “your update day is tomorrow, prepare your photos and morning weight”.- Timing before the send day is only available for check-ins. They are sent on a schedule, so Perform knows the day in advance. Intake and one-time forms are sent when you assign them, so there is no “day before”.
- Before the send day the form is not open yet. The reminder therefore goes to everyone, and the “only if not filled” option does not apply.
- These reminders open the home screen.
Reminders on or after the send day
- They are tied to the form that was actually sent to the trainee.
- A reminder on the send day whose time is earlier than the moment the form was sent is skipped.
- With Send only if the form has not been filled yet ticked, trainees who already filled the form are left alone.
Rules
- Up to 10 reminders.
- Two reminders cannot share the same form type, day and time. The editor flags the duplicate.
- One reminder has to stay. To stop reminders completely, turn the whole notification off.
- Each reminder has its own switch.
- A deleted reminder can be brought back until you save.
Timing details
- Days and times follow the trainee’s own time zone. If the app has not reported one, the studio’s time zone is used.
- Reminders are checked frequently through the day, so a reminder goes out shortly after the time you set, not at the exact second.
- Each reminder is sent once for a given form and trainee. A trainee never gets the same reminder twice.
The preview
The phone preview shows each message with sample data. For the form notifications, a small filter lets you switch the form type shown in the preview. Reminders are numbered in sending order.Trainees can mute these
In the app, trainees can switch off Check-in reminders and New forms separately. A check-in message or reminder follows the first switch. Messages for other forms follow the second.Example: a weekly check-in
