The shopping list has two parts. Shopping Recommendations is the catalogue of foods your studio suggests buying. The Shopping list is the trainee’s own list, built from that catalogue.

Where it is

  • Content tab: the last category chip is Shopping Recommendations.
  • Profile tab: the Shopping list card, with the hint Items you plan to buy.
  • Inside Shopping Recommendations, a Shopping list button opens the list.

Shopping Recommendations

The section opens with the line Foods your coach recommends buying. The foods shown are the ones in your studio’s food library that are switched on for the shopping list. Turning a food off for shopping in the food library removes it from here. The trainee can narrow the list in two ways:
  • Search foods at the top searches by name.
  • The filter button opens Filter by category with the food categories and how many foods each has.
The categories the app knows by name are Meat, Fish, Dairy, Fruit, Vegetables, Legumes, Snacks, Dessert, Gluten-free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Drinks and Sugar-free. A food with no category sits under Other. A category you created yourself is shown with the name you gave it. Each food has an Add to shopping list button. After adding, the app confirms with Added to shopping list and the food is marked as already on the list. Empty states:

The shopping list

The list shows every food the trainee added.
  • Tapping an item ticks it off. Tapping again unticks it. Ticked items stay on the list so the trainee can see what is already in the basket.
  • Remove takes an item off the list. The app confirms with Removed from shopping list.
  • Add items at the top goes back to Shopping Recommendations.
An empty list reads Your shopping list is empty with Add foods from Shopping Recommendations.

Good to know

  • The list is saved to the trainee’s account, so it is the same after closing the app or signing in on another phone.
  • A food can be on the list only once. Adding it again changes nothing.
  • The list holds foods, not amounts. It does not calculate how much to buy from the nutrition plan.
  • The list is personal. Each trainee has their own.
