The content library holds the recipes, videos, guides and files you share with every trainee in your studio. Trainees find it in the Content tab of the app. Open Content from the menu. The page is titled Content library with the subtitle Recipes, videos, guides and files for your trainees. Content is studio-wide. Every trainee of the studio sees the same library.

Content types

Each item has one type. The type decides which fields the editor shows and how the item opens in the app.

The screen

The toolbar has:
  • Search content, to find an item by name.
  • New content, to add an item.
  • Manage categories & tags. See Categories and tags.
  • Home banner. A dot marked Banner is live shows when a banner is currently published. See Home banner.
Under the toolbar are two rows of filters:
  • Categories, starting with All. Each one shows how many items it holds. General appears when some items have no category.
  • Tags, when your studio has any. The counts follow the category you picked.
Beside the list, App preview shows how the content tab looks in the trainee app with the current filter.

An item in the list

Each row shows the item’s title, type, category, media and status, plus these controls: Changes to the star and the switch are saved right away. Featured items are the ones you want trainees to see first.
  • In the app, the content tab opens on a Featured group that holds every featured item.
  • The Featured group only appears when at least one item is featured.
  • You can feature as many items as you like.

Visible and hidden items

Show in content library controls whether trainees can find an item.
  • A hidden item does not appear in the app’s content tab and cannot be opened from it.
  • A hidden item can still be used for the home banner. This is how you run a banner for something that should not sit in the library.
  • In the list, a hidden item is marked Hidden from the app.
The same setting is in the editor as the Published switch. New items start published.

Limits

  • The content screen loads up to 500 items.
