Click New content on the Content screen. The editor opens full screen, with the fields on one side and App preview on the other. The preview is a Live preview of the trainee app and updates as you type. To change an existing item, click Edit on its row.

The editor, field by field

Type

Pick one of Recipe, Video, Knowledge, File, Other or External link. You can switch type while editing. The fields below change to match, and the category follows the new type unless you already chose one yourself.

Title

The name trainees see on the card and at the top of the item. Required for every type.

Section name

Shown only for Other. It is the heading these items are grouped under, for example “Bonus guides”. Required.

Sub header

Shown only for External link. A short description line under the title on the card.

Category and tags

  • Category defaults to the category that matches the content type. Change it to file the item elsewhere.
  • Tags lets you pick as many tags as you like. Tags are created in the categories and tags window. If you have none yet you see No tags yet. Create them in the categories and tags window.
See Categories and tags.

Photo or video

The media for the item. What you can add depends on the type. See Media and uploads. For an External link, this area is the External link field itself, plus an optional thumbnail.

Text

For Video, Knowledge, File and Other, the Text box holds the article, notes or description shown under the media.

Published

Published means Visible to trainees in the app. Turn it off to keep working on an item without trainees seeing it. It is the same setting as Show in content library in the list.

Required fields

Required fields are marked. If you click Save with one missing, nothing is saved. The editor shows an error, scrolls to the first missing field and marks it This field is required.
A Video or File item saves without any media. Check the preview before publishing so you do not publish an empty card.

Recipes

A recipe has extra sections.

Description and notes

A short intro, prep time, servings or notes. In the app it is shown above the ingredients.

Ingredients

Type one ingredient per line.

Preparation steps

Build the method in order.
  • Add step adds a numbered step.
  • Add tip adds a tip, shown differently from a step. Use it for advice such as “Make sure the pan is extra hot”.
  • Drag a row to reorder it, or use Move up and Move down.
  • Remove deletes a row.
Empty rows are dropped when you save.

Recipe macros

Macros are optional. Anything you leave blank is hidden in the trainee app. There are two columns:
  • Whole recipe, with Total amount and the calories, protein, carbs and fat for the full dish.
  • 1 serving, with Serving size and the same four values for one portion.
Fill in the whole recipe and both amounts, and the serving values are worked out for you. They show an Auto from total badge. If a serving value is not what you want, type your own. To go back to the automatic value, clear the field. If your studio uses the portion system, the preview also shows the recipe in portions.

Create a recipe with AI

Click Create with AI at the top of a recipe.
1

Give it a source

Paste a Recipe link, or paste the recipe under Paste text.
2

Fill the fields

Click Auto-fill. The title, description, ingredients and steps are filled in.
3

Check and save

Read through the result, fix anything that is off, add a photo and click Save.
Some sites block automatic reading. When that happens you see We could not read this link. Some sites block automatic reading. Paste the recipe text instead. Copy the recipe text from the page and paste it. AI fills the text only. It does not add a photo or macros, so add those yourself. An External link item is a card that opens a web page.
  • Paste the full address under External link, starting with “https://”.
  • Add a thumbnail so the card has artwork. It is the only image the trainee sees for this item.
  • Tapping the card in the app opens the link outside the app.

Save, cancel and unsaved changes

  • Save stores the item and closes the editor. You see Content saved.
  • Cancel closes the editor.
If you close the editor with changes you have not saved, a window titled Unsaved changes offers Save changes, Discard changes or Keep editing.

Delete an item

Click Delete on the row and confirm. Deleting cannot be undone. If the item is used by the home banner, check the banner afterwards. A banner taken from a library item needs that item to exist.
