Create a plan
Open Nutrition management. The page lists your nutrition plan templates in folders, the same way as training programs. See Programs and folders.- Choose New program inside a folder or under Unfiled to start an empty plan.
- Choose Add nutrition plan to import a plan from text, a photo or a PDF. See Import a plan.
- Choose PDF or link plan to use a file or a site. See PDF and link plans.
The top bar
The top bar matches the training builder: back, the plan name, Program settings for the internal name and the name shown to the trainee, Assign to client and Save. On a plan that came from the import assistant, the top bar also shows Menu type and a counter of values that are still missing. On every plan, the goal is set with the chips in the Daily values section. See Daily targets.The builder does not save as you type. Choose Save before you leave. If you try to leave with unsaved changes, Perform asks what to do.
Days
A plan can hold several days, for example a training day and a rest day. Each day has its own targets and its own meals. The trainee chooses which day to follow in the app.Daily values
The Daily values section at the top of each day holds the calorie target, the macro targets and the water target for that day. It also shows how the planned meals compare with the target. This is covered in Daily targets.Meals
Choose Add meal and pick a type:- Breakfast
- Morning snack
- Lunch
- Pre-workout
- Post-workout
- Dinner
- Change the name and the time.
- Change the icon with Change meal icon.
- Write Prep instructions (optional)… for the trainee.
- Duplicate meal or Delete meal.
- Drag the meal to a new place in the day.
A meal with a target and no foods
You do not have to list foods for every meal. Use Meal target to give a meal a target on its own:- In calories mode, set a Meal calorie target.
- In portions mode, set protein, carb and fat portions for the meal.

Add foods

Open the picker
Choose Add foods at the bottom of the meal. The window title shows which meal you are adding to.

Find foods
Search with Search all categories… or browse the three columns: Protein, Carbs and Fat. Foods marked as recommended carry a star and are listed first.

Select
Click a food to add it to your selection. Click as many as you need.

Set amounts
Adjust each selected food’s amount with the plus and minus buttons. Stepping below the minimum removes the food from the selection.

Choose the button that reads, for example, Add 3 foods.
Amounts
Each food row in a meal has an amount you can type.- Calories
- Portions
Type the amount in the food’s unit. For most foods you can also type the calories you want and the amount is recalculated for you.The row shows calories and grams of protein, carbs and fat for that amount.
Reorder foods
Drag a food by the grip at the start of its row to move it within the meal. You can also focus the grip and use the keyboard: press space or enter to pick the food up, the up and down arrows to move it, and space or enter to drop it.- Foods are reordered inside one meal. To move a food to another meal, delete it and add it there.
- The order you set is the order the trainee sees.
Note, substitutes and delete
Each food row has three actions:Warnings on a food row
- Fruit is set more than once a day appears on the second and later fruit rows of a day.
- A food whose values are missing in the library is flagged, with a shortcut to Complete the nutrition values in the food library without leaving the plan.
The app preview
The side panel, Client preview, shows the selected day as the trainee sees it: the meals in order, the next meal marked Up next, each meal’s item count, and a marker for substitutes.Assign and save
- Assign to client opens the trainee picker. See Assign a plan.
- Save stores the plan. You see Program saved. A plan with no name is saved as “Nutrition plan”.
