Trainees reach your content in two places: the Content tab and the banner on the home screen. This page shows what they see, so you can set the library up with that in mind.

The Content tab

The tab is titled Content with the line Recipes, videos and guides from your coach.

What is listed

Only items with Show in content library turned on are listed. Hidden items are not shown and cannot be opened from the tab. If the library is empty the trainee sees No content here yet and Your coach will add recipes, videos and guides here.

Categories

Your categories appear as chips across the top.
  • Featured comes first, when at least one item is featured. The tab opens on it.
  • A category is shown only when it has visible items.
  • Items with no category are grouped together under a general category.

Tags

Inside a category, the trainee can open Filter by tags and pick a tag to narrow the list. The chosen tag is shown above the list and can be cleared. Search all content… looks across every category, not only the one that is open. With no match the trainee sees Nothing found and Try a different search term.

Cards

Each item is a card with its thumbnail and title.
  • An item added in the last 14 days carries a New badge.
  • The thumbnail is the one you set. Without one, the item’s own image is used.
See Thumbnails for how to set them.

Opening an item

What happens on a tap depends on the type.

Recipe macros

On a recipe, the trainee can switch between 1 serving and Whole recipe when you filled in both. Any value you left blank is hidden, so a recipe with only calories shows only calories.

The home banner

When a banner is published, it sits at the top of the home screen.
  • The card shows the banner’s still image, title and text.
  • If the banner has a button, tapping it opens the content item, plays the banner’s video, opens WhatsApp or opens your link, depending on the target you chose.
  • A form waiting to be filled is shown above the banner.
See Home banner.

When your changes show up

Changes are live as soon as you save an item, a category, a tag or the banner. A trainee who already has the app open sees them the next time that screen loads its data.

Setting up a library trainees will use

  • Feature a handful of items. The tab opens on Featured, so that is your front page.
  • Give every item a thumbnail. Files and external links have no picture without one.
  • Keep categories few and clear. Trainees pick a category first, then narrow with tags.
  • Use tags for what cuts across. “High protein” belongs on recipes and on articles.
  • Hide instead of deleting. Turn off Show in content library for seasonal items and switch them back on later.
