There are two ways to open a Perform account.
  • The setup wizard at /start. It builds your studio, your branded app, your subscription plans and your trainee list in one pass. This is the path most new studios take.
  • The short signup form at /signup. It creates the account and the studio and nothing else.
If someone invited you to an existing studio, you do not need either. See Studios.

The setup wizard

The wizard is written in Hebrew and laid out right to left. It is built for a desktop screen. The step names below are English descriptions of the Hebrew headings.
The wizard has six steps. A phone preview next to the form updates while you type, so you see the trainee app take shape. Your answers are saved in the browser as you go, so a refresh does not lose them.
1

Identity

Enter the business name. This is the only required field on the step. You can also add the head coach’s name, upload a logo and pick the brand colour. Choose one of six ready colours or pick any colour you like. With no logo, Perform draws a monogram from the business name.
2

The business

Three short questions: the type of business (personal coach, studio, gym or online coaching), the team size (only me, 2 to 5, or 6 and more) and how many active trainees you have today. If you pick “only me”, the team invitation card on the last step stays hidden.
3

The app

Switch on the parts of the trainee app you want: workouts, nutrition, content library, forms and check-in, and meetings calendar. Workouts must be on to continue. You can change all of this later in the studio settings. When you continue, a popup asks you to pick the home screen design and light or dark mode for the trainee app. Then the signup popup opens.
4

Sign up (popup)

Enter your full name, your mobile number and your email.
  • The mobile number is the one you will sign in with.
  • Confirm the email with Google, or ask for a code by email and type it in.
  • Then confirm the mobile number with a code sent on WhatsApp.
When both are confirmed, Perform creates your account and your studio. If the email is already registered, the wizard tells you to confirm it with Google, use another email, or sign in to the web app instead.
5

Subscription plans

Four sample plans are ready: 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, each with a sample price. Edit a price, change the length, or switch a plan off. Plans that are off are not shown to trainees. These become the plans on your Subscription and Pricing page.
6

Trainees

Bring your trainees in one of two ways.
  • Connect an AutoFit account. Perform sends a 6-digit code on WhatsApp, shows what it found and lets you choose what to move. The move runs in the background while you continue.
  • Upload an Excel or CSV file. Perform detects the name, phone and email columns on its own. It also reads an end date column if the file has one and uses it as the end of the subscription. You then assign a plan length to each trainee, or to everyone at once.
The file must have a name column and a phone column. Without them the wizard reports that it found no trainees.
7

Finish

Review the summary. If your team is larger than one, add team members here: first name, last name, phone, email and a role of team member or admin. Each one receives an invitation by email. The note under the card says the first two team members, you included, are part of the plan, and each extra one is paid monthly.
When you press the last button, Perform saves the branding, the plans, the trainees and the team invitations. If an invitation could not be created, the finish screen lists the names so you can invite them again from the Team page. From the finish screen you go to the plan picker. See Choose a Perform plan.
Importing trainees in the wizard does not message them. They hear from you when you invite them yourself.

The short signup form

Open /signup, or press Create an account on the sign-in page.
1

Fill in the form

Name, Email, Phone number, Studio name and Password. The studio name needs at least two characters.
2

Press Create account

Perform creates your user and a studio with that name.
3

Copy your studio code

The next screen is titled Your studio code. Press Copy code to copy it, then Continue to dashboard.
After this form your studio has no branding, plans or trainees yet. Follow the first week checklist.

The “Set up your account” step

A new user who has not finished onboarding may see a screen titled Set up your account the first time they open the app. It has one step:
  • Name
  • Avatar. Click the circle or drop an image on it to upload a photo.
Press Continue to finish. The setup wizard marks onboarding as done for you, so wizard users do not see this screen.

If you are asked to choose a password

Some accounts are created without a password, for example an account made with Google or a team member who signs in with a code. The first time such a user enters the app, a screen titled Choose a password appears. Enter a New password and press Save password. You can use it to sign in next time.
