The Nutrition tab is the trainee’s menu for the day. It shows the meals you planned, what is left to eat today, and water. The trainee ticks what they ate, and you see it on the trainee card.

What is on the screen

Plan name and plan picker

The title is the name of the nutrition plan. If the plan has no name it reads the trainee’s first name followed by ‘s nutrition plan. When the trainee has more than one nutrition plan, tapping the title opens Select nutrition plan. PDF and link plans are marked PDF or Link in that list.

The date

Next to the title is the date, shown as Today, Yesterday or a date such as 03.10. Tapping it opens a calendar under Select date. The arrows move between months.

Day types

If the plan has more than one kind of day, for example a training day and a rest day, a row of buttons with the day names sits under the header. The trainee picks which one applies today. The choice is kept for the rest of the day and is used for the home screen as well. It resets at 5:00 in the morning, so a late-night choice does not carry into the next day.

Water and the remaining summary

A water tile shows the millilitres logged today. Tapping it opens the water logger. See Water. Beside it, Left today shows what is still open against the day’s goal: Calories, Protein, Carbs and Fat. The goal is the target you set for that day of the plan. If the day has no target, the app adds up the planned meals and uses that.
If your studio uses the portion system, every number in the app is shown in portions instead of calories and grams, with the unit name your studio chose. The trainee still sees protein, carbs and fat separately.

The meals

Under Today’s meals a counter shows progress, for example 2/5 eaten. Each meal is a row with:
  • its name and time,
  • a short description of what is in it,
  • its calories or portions,
  • an Up next tag on the first meal that is not finished,
  • a round check to mark the whole meal as eaten,
  • a button that removes the meal from the day.
Tapping a meal opens it. See Logging meals. Meals the trainee added themselves appear under the planned ones, tagged Added manually or Added with AI.

Add a meal

Two buttons at the bottom add something that is not on the plan:
  • Add a meal with AI, for a photo or a text description,
  • Add a meal manually, to build a meal from foods.
Both are covered in Adding food, barcodes and AI.

Which days can be edited

“Today” follows the phone’s own date and time zone and changes at midnight. A trainee who is abroad logs against their local day. For an older day the app shows the day as it was logged: the plan with the same ticks, swaps and amounts. If nothing detailed was saved for that day, it shows a simpler view with Calories eaten, the macros, and a list under Logged meals, or No meals logged today yet.

Saving

There is no save button. Every tick, swap and amount change is saved to the server a moment after it is made, and the home screen and your view of the trainee update from it. If two devices or a slow connection are involved, the app merges what is on the server with what was changed on the phone, and the change made on the phone wins for the same item.

Deleting a meal for the day

The remove button on a meal asks Delete meal with The meal comes off today only. You can add it back any time. The meal is removed from that day only. The plan is not changed, and the meal is back tomorrow.
The app has no button that brings a removed plan meal back on the same day. If a trainee removed one by mistake, they can log the food with Add a meal manually.
For a meal the trainee added, deleting removes it and its log. When the nutrition plan is a file or a link, the tab shows the file itself with the note This data is not collected from the trainee because they use a file plan. There are no meals to tick and no remaining summary. The trainee can still:
  • log water,
  • add meals with Add a meal with AI or Add a meal manually. These are listed above the buttons.

No plan yet

Without a nutrition plan the tab shows You don’t have a nutrition plan yet. The water logger is still available.
