The field list in the builder is split into six groups. This page goes through each field in the order it appears. Unless noted, every question has Field label, Help text / explanation, Required field and a Condition. Those are covered in Form builder.

Basic fields

Short answer

Free text. Turn on Long text to give the trainee a bigger, multi-line box for longer answers.

Number

A number. In the app it opens a decimal keypad, so the trainee can type whole numbers or decimals such as 72.5. There are no minimum and maximum settings on this field. Use Range when you need the answer to stay between two values.

Email

An email address. The answer must look like a valid email or the form will not submit. Save to client card stores it as the trainee’s email.

Phone

A mobile number. The app shows a country picker, and the number is checked before the form submits. Save to client card stores it as the trainee’s phone number.

Identity & metrics

ID number

An Israeli ID number. It must be 9 digits and pass the official check digit, so a mistyped number is rejected. Save to client card stores it on the trainee.

Birth date

A date picker for the date of birth. Save to client card stores the birth date and also updates the trainee’s age from it.

Weight

Weight in kg. In the app the trainee picks the value on a ruler in steps of 0.1 kg.
  • Minimum and Maximum set the ends of the ruler. With nothing set, it runs from 30 to 200.
  • Save to client card updates the trainee’s current weight and adds a weigh-in to their weight history. This is what feeds the weight charts in Check-in tracking.

Height

Height in cm, typed on a decimal keypad. Minimum and Maximum limit the accepted values. Save to client card stores the trainee’s height.

Body measurement

One body circumference in cm, typed on a decimal keypad.
  • Which measurement picks what this field measures: Chest, Waist, Hips, Arm or Thigh. One field holds one measurement. Add the field again for each measurement you want.
  • Minimum and Maximum limit the accepted values.
  • Save to client card saves the answer to the trainee’s measurement tracking for that day. It is merged with any other measurements already logged that day.

Goal

The trainee’s training goal, picked from a list. The field comes with five goals already filled in. Edit, remove or add goals under Options. Save to client card stores the chosen goal on the trainee.

Gender

Male or Female.

Selection & rating

Multiple choice

A list of options you write yourself.
  • Options holds the list. Use Add option and Remove option.
  • Allow multiple lets the trainee pick more than one option. When it is off they pick exactly one.

Confirmation

A checkbox the trainee ticks to confirm something, such as accepting your terms.
  • Field label is an optional heading shown above the checkbox.
  • Confirmation text is the sentence next to the box, for example “I accept the terms”.
  • Link (optional) adds a link next to the text, with its own Link text. Use it to point at your terms or policy.
  • When Required field is on, the trainee cannot submit until the box is ticked.

Date

A date picker for any date.

Rating

A row of stars.
  • Star count sets how many stars, from 2 to 10. New fields start at 5.
  • Low-value label and High-value label add a word at each end, such as “Poor” and “Excellent”.
A rating can also drive task automation, for example raising a task when a trainee rates below a number.

Range

A slider between two numbers.
  • Minimum and Maximum set the ends. New fields start at 0 to 10.
  • The answer must fall inside the range.

Food preferences

Lets the trainee mark the foods they avoid, using your studio’s food library.
  • Categories in this field chooses which food categories the trainee sees. All categories are on by default, and a new library category is included automatically.
  • The trainee can exclude a whole category, then tap a single food to keep it on the menu.
  • This field has no Required field switch. “No foods excluded” is a valid answer.
If the library has no foods yet, the builder shows The food library is empty.

Media

File / image upload

The trainee uploads one file or image. Save to client card adds the file to the trainee’s photo gallery when it is an image. Other file kinds stay on the response only.

Video upload

The trainee records or uploads one video.
Files a trainee uploads from the app are limited to 15 MB each. Photos are shrunk on the phone before upload.

Trainee photos

Three ready-made photo fields: Front photo, Side photo and Back photo. Each one is an image upload that already knows which pose it holds. Use these for progress photos. With Save to client card on, each photo is saved to the trainee’s gallery with its pose, so the check-in review can show front, side and back photos next to the weigh-in.

Display

Display blocks show content to the trainee. They collect nothing, are never required, and are not counted in the Fields column of the forms list.

Coach message

A personal note from you, shown with your photo.
  • Coach photo is pulled automatically from company settings.
  • From line is the small line above the title. Leave it empty to use the default.
  • Message title and Message content. In the content you can bold text, change colours and add new lines.

Text

A formatted content block.
  • Title (optional) and Content.
  • Block background can be Brand color, No background or Custom color.

Image / video

A photo or video the trainee sees inside the form.
  • Upload an image up to 25 MB or a video up to 99 MB.
  • Accepted images are PNG, JPEG, WebP and GIF. Accepted videos are MP4, MOV and WebM.
  • Videos play in the app with play and full-screen controls.
The block is locked while its file uploads. Wait for the upload to finish before you publish.

Fields you may see on older forms

Two field kinds are no longer offered in the field list but still work on forms that already use them:
  • Age, a whole number. New forms should use Birth date, which keeps the age up to date by itself.
  • Expandable content, a collapsible block with a Title, Summary and Full content.
Signature is not in this list. It is placed on the PDF of a document to sign.
