Nutrition in Perform mirrors training. You keep a library of foods, build plan templates from them, and assign personal copies to trainees.

How the pieces connect

  1. You keep the Food library accurate: calories, macros, serving sizes and how each food is shown to trainees.
  2. You build a nutrition plan. A plan has one or more days. Each day has daily targets and meals, and each meal has foods with amounts.
  3. You assign the plan to trainees. Each one gets a personal copy that you can edit on its own.
  4. The trainee follows the menu in the app, swaps foods for substitutes, and logs what they ate.
A plan stores which food and how much, not the food’s nutrition values. Calories and macros are read from the food library every time the plan is shown. If you correct a food in the library, every plan that uses it shows the corrected numbers.

Calories or portions

Perform can run nutrition in two ways. The choice is a studio setting. Most screens in this section look a little different depending on the mode. Each page says which parts apply to which. See The portion system.
