A check-in is the regular update a trainee sends you: weight, measurements, photos and whatever else you ask. Perform sends the form on a schedule, collects the answers, and puts every filled form in one queue so nothing waits unnoticed.

The cycle

  1. You build a Check-in form and link it to a trainee as their Recurring update form.
  2. The form goes out by itself, weekly, every two weeks or monthly.
  3. The trainee fills it in the app.
  4. The filled form appears in Check-in Tracking with a timer showing how long it has waited.
  5. You open it, compare it with the previous update and with the trainee’s tracking data, and adjust plans if needed.
  6. You write feedback and finish handling. The form is marked Handled.

What counts as a check-in

Two form types enter check-in tracking:
  • Check-in forms, shown as Update. Each one is numbered per trainee, for example “Weekly update form #4”.
  • Intake form forms, shown as Onboarding. These are the first form a new trainee fills.
One-Time forms and signed documents never appear here. Their responses are on the trainee card. See Responses.
