A trainee never creates a password. They type their phone number, receive a six digit code on WhatsApp, and they are in.

First launch

The first time the app opens it shows three welcome slides about workouts, nutrition and progress. The trainee taps Continue twice and then Let’s start, or taps Skip at any point. The slides do not come back after that.

Signing in

1

Enter the phone number

On the Welcome screen the trainee types their number under Your number: and taps Continue.Israeli numbers are typed the usual local way. For any other country they tick I have a non-Israeli number, pick the country from the Country list and type the rest of the number.
2

Open WhatsApp

The app sends a code by WhatsApp to that number.
3

Enter the code

Back in the app, under Enter the code from WhatsApp, they type the six digits. The app signs in by itself as soon as the sixth digit is typed. They can also tap Sign in.
The sign-in screen is not studio specific. It reads Sign in to your personal area, because the app only learns which studio the trainee belongs to after the code is accepted. Your logo and colour appear from the next screen on.

Code rules

  • The code has six digits and works for five minutes.
  • A phone number can ask for a code three times in ten minutes. After that the app shows Too many attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.
  • Resend under Didn’t get a code? sends a new code. The app confirms with The code was resent on WhatsApp.
  • The back arrow returns to the number screen to fix a typo.

Messages a trainee may see

Training at more than one studio

If the same phone number is a trainee at two or more studios, the app asks Which studio are you here for? right after the code. The trainee taps a studio and the whole app switches to that studio: its plans, logo and colour. They can move later from Profile. Under Personal details, the My studio row becomes tappable when there is more than one studio. Switching does not ask for a new code. Each studio is a separate account. Workouts, meals and forms from one studio never appear in the other.

Staying signed in

The app keeps the trainee signed in. There is no timeout and no need to enter a code again after closing the app or restarting the phone. They are signed out only when:
  • they tap Sign out in Profile and confirm,
  • they delete their account,
  • the trainee was removed from the studio, in which case the app returns to the sign-in screen by itself.
Signing out also stops push notifications for that phone, so a phone that changes hands does not keep receiving the previous trainee’s messages.

What the app asks for after sign-in

Right after the first sign-in the app asks a few things, one at a time, never on top of each other:
  1. Permission to send notifications.
  2. Permission to read steps from Apple Health or Health Connect. See Apple Health and Health Connect.
  3. An app update, only if a newer version is in the store. See Paused plans and app updates.
If a form is waiting, a popup about it appears after these. See Forms and check-ins.

Deleting the account

Delete account is at the bottom of Profile. The app asks Delete your account? and explains:
Your personal details, photos, messages and nutrition logs will be permanently deleted and you will no longer be able to sign in. This cannot be undone.
After confirming, the trainee is signed out and that phone number can no longer sign in to your studio.
Deleting is permanent from the trainee’s side. If a client did it by mistake, you need to set them up again from the coach web app.
