Home is the first screen after sign-in. It answers three questions: what did I eat so far, what is my next meal, and what is my next workout. It also carries anything that needs attention, such as a form to fill. Pulling the screen down refreshes it. It also refreshes each time the app comes back to the front.

Sections, top to bottom

This is the order in the standard home design. A section only appears when it has something to show.

Greeting

Good morning, Good afternoon or Good evening with the trainee’s first name. When meetings are switched on for your studio, a calendar button here opens Schedule a meeting. See Booking a meeting.

Paused plan note

If you froze the trainee’s plan but left their app access on, a card reads Training plan on hold with You can still use the app. Contact your trainer to resume your plan. If access was not left on, the trainee sees a lock screen instead. See Paused plans and app updates.

Notifications are off

When the phone does not allow notifications for the app, a card says Notifications are off - you will not get updates from your coach. It has one button:
  • Turn on notifications, when the phone can still show its permission question.
  • Open settings, when the trainee already refused and has to change it in the phone settings.
The trainee can close the card with the X. It then stays away for seven days.

Forms to fill

Every form you sent that is still waiting is listed under Forms to fill, with a count when there is more than one. Tapping a form opens it. The card pulses gently so it is hard to miss. It is hidden while the plan is frozen.

Your banner

The banner you publish from the content library appears here with its image or video. Its button depends on what you chose: If you typed your own button label, that label is shown instead.

My nutrition

A summary of today: calories and macros eaten against the day’s goal, how many meals were eaten, and a Next meal row with the name of the next meal that is not finished yet. Tapping it opens the Nutrition tab. If your studio uses the portion system, the numbers are shown in portions instead of calories and grams. If the trainee’s nutrition plan is a PDF or a link, this section shows File plan with the note This data is not collected from the trainee because they use a file plan.

Cardio and steps

When the training plan has a step goal, a Daily steps card shows today’s steps against the goal. See Cardio and steps. The weekly cardio card lives on the Workouts tab, not here.

Next workout

Your next workout shows the workout that is up next, how many exercises it has and its estimated time, with a Start workout button.
  • Tapping the card opens the workout preview.
  • Tapping Start workout opens the workout and starts it right away.
  • If a workout is already running, the card changes to Continue training and shows the next exercise.
  • If the training plan is a PDF or a link, the card sends the trainee to the Workouts tab, where the file is.

WhatsApp button

When a coach number is known, a floating My WhatsApp button opens a chat with the coach. The number comes from the studio’s contact WhatsApp setting, or the coach’s phone when that is empty.

Home designs

Your studio can pick one of four home designs in the branding settings on the web: the standard one, and three others with a different look. The choice applies to every trainee in the studio. All four show the same information and lead to the same places. Only the layout, fonts and backgrounds change. The bottom tab bar is the same in all of them.

While a workout or cardio session is running

A small bar sits above the tab bar on all five tabs.
  • For a workout it shows the workout name, Up next with the next exercise, and sets done out of total. Tapping it returns to the workout. Pressing and holding it offers Discard workout?
  • For a cardio session it shows the running time with Pause or Resume.

iPhone widgets

On iPhone the trainee can add Perform widgets to the phone’s home screen: today’s workout, today’s nutrition and the workout streak. They update when the app goes to the background. There are no widgets on Android.
